here is a simple excercise of transposing the wife from a seperate image to the current . these were scanned from slides intially from the first course. we covered layers , text, filters ,and watercolour, drawing to transparancies.the course was inspiring and I look forward to long nights in the winter to improve my "dexterity" a phrase popular with siddique.

Starting with photograph I added text and warped it. then two comets were produced separately and dragged into sky. Finally waves were added to the foreground.

In editor i took this sunset image of palm trees and created a planet using filters to generate

clouds. I then selected the planet using the move tool and dragged it onto my sunset photo. I duplicated the layer then using the magic wand tool to select the palm trees i dragged the planet between the two layers. then added some text and distorted and sheared it.

Las Vegas - A New Perspective

I took various photographs from several photos and took selections of landmarks from these and entered these as layers into the main photo of Las Vegas. I distorted the photos to match the angle and perspective of the original photo. I had to copy and replace some of the foreground in order to place the selection layers into the background. I added the text "Vegas" and used the neon filters to give it a "neon" effect sign to the picture.

This montage was created following a Digital Photography Course at The Savoy Centre, using techniques instructed over a period, to use of layers, and combinations of images duplicated to create dimensions with text and effects superimposed.

Stella Landscape!

I created this following the Advanced Digital Photography course at the SAvoy Centre this summer.

Taking a base photo of poppies I made a 'negative' image altered the colour values. On another document I created a graphic of a planet using the filters menu extensively and then finished off with text with effects and distortion applied to it. Finished off by positioning the text according to the effect I wanted to create.

Attending this class it allows me to learn about the different ways you can learn about computer also about the internet. Before comming to the class l was a fraid to use the computer. Now I have learn about the keyboard, how to send an email, to use a spreed sheet, how to put photograph on the computer. We did open office and lots more. l am not afraid to use the computer any more l can even send email. l enjoyed coming, my teacher explain things very clealy for me to anderstand.
